Smoky Salsa

- 1 can chopped tomatoes shopping list
- 1 bag frozen seasoning ( onions celery ) shopping list
- The inside stalks( leafy part) celery chopped shopping list
- 1/2 jalapeño, seeds and (membrane removed )and chopped( use more if you want it hotter) shopping list
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke ( I like the hickory but you can use the mesquite too) shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 tsp Zatarains garlic and herb spice shopping list
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp chili powder shopping list
- Pinch smoked paprika shopping list
How to make it
- In food processor or mini chopper/ blender add all ingredients.
- Blend until just smooth or about 30 seconds or so.
- Sauce with still have some chunks but mostly smooth.
- Taste and adjust spices.
- Refrigerating the sauce will enhance the flavors too!
- Serve with corn tortilla chips or home style fried flour tortilla chips
