Spicy Chicken And Snow Peas

- 10 oz/ 300 grams chicken thigh meat shopping list
- 7 oz/200 grams Snow Peas shopping list
- 1 Tbsp oil for stir frying shopping list
- Marinade: shopping list
- 1Tbsp rice wine or dry sherry shopping list
- 1 Tbsp@ cornstarch and light soy sauce shopping list
- Pinch of salt and MSG (optional) shopping list
- Flavoring: shopping list
- 1.5 Tbsp@ finely minced spring onion, garlic, ginger shopping list
- 3/4 Tbsp Chinese chili bean paste shopping list
- Sauce shopping list
- 3/4 Tbsp Rice wine shopping list
- 1.5 Tbsp light soy sauce shopping list
- 2.5 Tbsp water shopping list
- 1 Tbsp sugar shopping list
- 1.5 tsp cornstarch shopping list
- 1 Tbsp Rice vinegar shopping list
- 1 Tsp chili Oil shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp Sesame oil shopping list
- Pinch of Sichuan Peppercorn Powder. shopping list
How to make it
- Remove the strings from the snow peas.
- Slice the chicken into strips
- Combine each of the ingredients in separate bowls.
- Put the marinade in a medium sized bowl, add the chicken and mix thoroughly. Set aside for twenty minutes.
- Heat your wok or frying pan til hot. Add the oil. When it begins to smoke, add the chicken. Stir fry for about 3 minutes. Add the onion mixture and stir fry for a couple of minutes. Then add the snow peas. Stir fry until they turn bright green. Stir the sauce mixture and add it to the pan. Cook until it thickens.
- Serve with white rice.
