Smoked Spanish Style Chicken Wings

- 2tbsp Olive Oil shopping list
- 1kg/2lb 4oz chicken Wings - tips removed shopping list
- 1 clove Garlic - crushed shopping list
- 1 red Chilli - deseeded and finely chopped shopping list
- 1tbsp light Muscovado Sugar shopping list
- 1tbsp Tomato Ketchup shopping list
- 2tsp Smoked Paprika shopping list
- 2tbsp Worcestershire Sauce shopping list
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Salt and pepper the chicken;
- Put all the remaining ingredients in a bowl large enough to accommodate the wings and combine together to form a marinade;
- Add the wings to the marinade and mix and toss until each wing evenly coated on all sides;
- Cover with cling film and marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours or, preferably, overnight;
- Preheat oven to 440f/220c/200c fan/gas7 or prepare a BBQ
- If cooking in the oven, place the chicken and marinade into a roasting pan/foil dish in a single layer.
- Roast for some 20 to 25 minutes or so, turning once halfway through, or until golden brown and fully cooked through.
- If using BBQ, place the chicken and marinade in a BBQ dish/pan and BBQ for some 20 minutes or so or, as above, until golden brown and fully cooked through
