Sugar Cookies Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large bowl cream together the shortening
  • sugars and egg.
  • In another bowl add the dry ingredients.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the shortening mixture.
  • Mix till combined.
  • Roll out to desired thickness ( I do 1/2 inch)
  • Cut with cookie cutters cut into what shape you like.
  • Decorate as you wish.
  • I sprinkle mine with Lavender Sugar.
  • Bake 10-12 minutes or until light brown.
  • These freeze very well.
