How to make it

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
  • 2. in a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and butter.
  • 3. Press evenly on the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
  • 4. In another mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, egg yolks, lime juice and vodka until smooth. (you want it SMOOTH).
  • 5. Pour until the filling is just set, about 15 minutes. Let cool completely, then refrigerate overnight.
  • 6. Before serving, make the whipped cream by beating the cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract in a stand mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form, about 5 minutes.
  • 7. Are you ready? Sure? Serve the pie with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
