How to make it

  • Before starting, grease a 9inx13in pan/baking dish. Dad says Pam works great.
  • Combine the sugar, evaporated milk, and margarine in a large pot that you would make candy/boil sugar in. DO NOT use non-stick. Stir this constantly on low heat until it comes to a full rolling boil.
  • Let the mixture boil like this for EXACTLY five minutes while still stirring.
  • After the five minutes, remove from heat and add the chocolate chips and marshmallow creme. Stir until everything is melted in and mixed well.
  • Add in your "good splash" of vanilla, and nuts if you are using them.
  • pour into your greased pan. It helps to have someone around the scrape down the pan as it will probably take two hands to pour and will be very hot.
  • Once it cools and sets up, it can be sliced. Enjoy!
