Dorothy's Fruity Bread Pudding

- ½ cup butter shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 5 slices day old bread, cubed ( I usually use more) shopping list
- 1 15 oz can fruit cocktail, drained shopping list
- ½ can pineapple chunks, drained shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add eggs and beat ‘til fluffy
- Add fruit and bread and mix together with large spoon
- Put in 9x9 pan and bake at 350F for 50 minutes
- Delicious hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Notes/Tips: -lightly toast/dry the bread so it will absorb more of the liquid
- -use less sugar if you don’t like it too sweet
- -add plumped up raisins
- -add a splash of bourbon to kick it up a notch
- -cinnamon would be nice
