Apple-cherry Slab Pie

- 7 C. apples, Tart (Peeled, Sliced Thin) shopping list
- 2/3 C. Cherries, Dried (Chopped) shopping list
- 2/3 C. White Sugar shopping list
- 1/4 C. Flour, All-Purpose shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp. cinnamon (Ground) shopping list
- Pastry (Scratch or Frozen) shopping list
- Milk shopping list
- Optional: Ice Cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat @ 375.
- Grease 15"x10" baking pan.
- Mix apples, cherries, sugar, flour, & cinnamon.
- On floured surface, prepare/roll pastry into 16"x10" and transfer to pan. Spread filling to within 1" of edge. Roll remaining pastry into 15"x10" and top filling. Fold bottom pastry over top and moisten lightly with milk. Cover edge of crust with Foil.
- Bake 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 35 - 40 minutes.
- Cool on rack 1 Hour.
