How to make it

  • Combine cream cheese and extract in a small mixing bowl. Beat in 1 1/2 cups of confectioners' sugar. Knead in remaining confectioners' sugar until smooth. Shape into 1/2-inch balls, or place in molds if desired. If rolling into a ball, roll in colored sugar if desired. Place on ungreased baking sheets and flatten with a fork Let stand for one hour or until hardened. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Yield: approx 6 dozen.
