Biscuits And Gravy… Casserole!

- 1 tube Refrigerated biscuits, (8 units) shopping list
- 1 pound Breakfast sausage, your preferred spiciness! shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups milk, Divided shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper shopping list
- 7 Eggs, (large) shopping list
- 1 block Grated colby Jack cheese, 8 ounces, or buy the pre-grated shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Before you begin, set the temperature of your oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- 2. Each biscuit needs to be cut into 4 pieces. Scatter the biscuit pieces evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.
- 3. Then you’re going to get a large saucepan and cook the sausage, crumbling them with a wooden spoon while cooking. After that, use a slotted spoon and remove it onto a paper towel-lined plate. Always remember to leave about quarter a cup of the sausage in the pan for the sauce.
- 4. Next, add the butter to the fat in the pan and put the pan over medium heat. You can then add the flour and stir and cook for about 120 seconds.
- 5. Then you’ll want to add gradually 2 cups of milk, join garlic powder, salt, pepper. Stew until thickened, then immediately remove from fire.
- 6. Make sure to whisk together the eggs with the remaining 1/2 cup of milk in a medium bowl. For this part, I always season with just a little salt and pepper.
- 7. Okay now, you can sprinkle sausage over cookies, spreading cheese on the sausage.
- 8. The egg mixture should be poured on top, followed by the sauce and the remaining cheese at this stage. To finish, bake for about half an hour.
