Microwave Granola

- 2 cups old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats shopping list
- 2 to 4 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar shopping list
- One tablespoon vegetable oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup wheat germ (or ground flaxseed, chia seed, etc.) shopping list
- One teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 c slivered almonds shopping list
- 1/4 c sunflower seeds (or a sunflower/pepita mix) shopping list
- 1/2 c dried fruit (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients except dried fruit in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on "High" for two minutes (watch the slivered almonds closely). Stir well. Microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes longer. . Add dried fruit and stir.and let cool. Store in airtight covered container.
