How to make it

  • In a small bowl, place all of the ingredients for the burger' mystery sauce. Use a small whisk to mix.
  • Sit aside.

  • Place a large skillet over a medium heat on the stove top.
  • Place the vegetable oil and onions in the skillet.
  • Stir until the onion are coated by the oil.
  • Let cook while making the patties.
  • ~ ~ ~
  • Separate ground meat to 4 equal parts.
  • Roll each of the 4 portions into a ball.
  • Take 2 - 8 inch square pieces of waxed paper, place one on a level counter.
  • Place 1 of the balls of ground meat in the center of the wax paper on the counter.
  • Over the top of the ball of meat, lay the other piece of waxed paper.
  • Take a saucer.
  • Place the saucer, top side down, centered over the meat, on top of the waxed paper.
  • Press down, it will create the perfect sized burger.
  • Season each of the burger patties with the salt and pepper.

  • Place the burger patties, quickly, on top of the onions.
  • Push with spatula to press hamburger and onion together.
  • Let cook until one side turns brown.
  • Flip it over and allow it to cook till browned on the other side.
  • Remove the burgers and onions from the pan and place them on the bottom half of a burger bun.
  • Add a slice of cheese, and Mystery Burger Sauce on top of the cheese.
  • At this point if using bacon, tomato, lettuce, pickles, or avocado slices - add them now!
  • Place the top of the bun on top of the veggies that are on top of the burger.
  • Burger is ready!
