Simply Fried Rice

I’m a fan of white rice, and I tried making fried a few times, but it never worked out. I had a good bowl of it recently though, so I figured I’d try my hand again. And Bingo! It turned out great, and, of course, simple to make. Read more Caveat on the ingredient amounts: I don’t really measure them, so use however much you want. It also takes longer than 2 minutes since you have to cook the rice. About 8m if you use Minute Rice. See less
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked rice — still hot! (which is why I put 2+ minutes) shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 2 tbs extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1 tbs garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tbs onion powder shopping list
- 1 tsp celery salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper shopping list
- 2 tbs low-sodium soy sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Add oil to a pan over medium heat, and make sure the bottom is fully coated
- Add rice, egg, and all the other ingredients
- Stir it well until the egg is fully cooked, about 1 minute
- Remove and serve
