  • Wash beans well and drain. Put beans into clean pint jars. Add onions, celery, carrots, bacon. Top with spices, liquid smoke and ketchup in layers. No need to mix.
  • Pressure can at required pounds of pressure for your altitude for 75 mins. Remove from canner as soon as pressure reduces naturally.
  • You can do the math and add all the ingredient amounts together and add enough water to make a soup consistency if you don't want to can it.
