Ingredients
  • 1 oz of semisweet chocolate
  • 2-3 c. of hot coffee
  • 1/4 c. of sugar
  • 1 c. of half-and-half
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/2 c. of water
  • ground nutmeg

Directions
  1. First you want to place the chocolate, sugar, salt, and water in the top of a double boiler, and melt the chocolate.
  2. Then cook, stirring for approx. 5 minutes, then add the cream.
  3. Now reheat, but do not let come to a boil.
  4. Then you add in the vanilla and the coffee.
  5. Finally, pour into the cups and garnish with nutmeg if desired.
