Ingredients
  • 1 Tablespoon flour
  • 1 turkey size (19 x 23½-inch) Reynolds Oven Cooking Bag
  • 8 to 10 pound fully-cooked ham half, bone-in
  • Whole cloves
  • Pineapple slices, optional

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325° F. Shake flour in Reynolds Oven Cooking Bag; place in large roasting pan at least 2 inches deep. Remove skin; trim fat from ham, leaving a thin layer. Lightly score surface of ham; stud with cloves. Place ham in bag. Close bag with nylon tie; make 6 half-inch slits in top. insert meat thermometer through slit in bag. Bake 2 to 2½ hours or until meat thermometer registers 140° F. Garnish with pineapple slices, if desired. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
  2. VARIATION - PINEAPPLE GLAZED HOLIDAY HAM: In recipe above, substitute one 12 to 16 pound fully-cooked whole ham, bone in. Combine 1 can (20-ounce) undrained, crushed pineapple, ½ cup apple jelly, 2 Tablespoons lemon juice, 1 Tablespoon cornstarch and 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon in saucepan; stir until cornstarch dissolves. Bring to a boil; simmer 1 minute. Pour sauce over ham in bag. Bake 2½ to 3¼ hours. NOTE: Sauce will cause inside of bag to darken in color. This is a normal reaction and does not indicate burning.
