Pears Upside Down Cake

- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine shopping list
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon water (more if you needed) shopping list
- 3 cans (15 ounce) pears (save juice from one can) shopping list
- 1 box yellow cake mix shopping list
How to make it
- 1.In an 9x13 inch cake pan melt the butter or margarine than pull out the pan from the oven, stir in the brown sugar and water. Arrange the pears and set aside.
- 2.In an mixing bowl follow the direction off from the cake mix. Use the pears juice to take the place of the water. Might need just an little bit of the water but not much.

- Preheat oven to 350°. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Loosen cake from the pan; inverent onto a plate. Serve warm.
- Best use Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker cake mix. Do not use generic brand cake mix because it won't come out right.
