Smithfield Burger

- 1/4lb steer burger shopping list
- One tblsp Smithfield ham spread shopping list
- One tblsp good mayonase shopping list
- kosher salt shopping list
- Topping : equal portions of mayo combined with ham pate shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare the patties round but NOT flattened
- Preheat griddle
- Add a pinch of the salt to hot pan
- (No oil or shortening! )
- Drop patties on to hot salt
- Brown five minutes undisturbed at medium to high heat
- Add salt to pan and flip patties (only once )on the salt
- Do not press down on patty
- After the next 5 minutes are up, leave in pan and add the topping to the burger
- Place the skillet( with burger )under the broiler til' it bubbles and browns
- Serve with steak fries
