Ingredients
  • 1 (300 g) package of quorn mince
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped bell pepper
  • 1 (300 g) can of rinsed kidney beans
  • 1 (400 g) can of chopped tomatoes
  • chili powder
  • 2 tbsp. of olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • boiled rice

Directions
  1. First you want to saute the chopped onion and chopped bell pepper in olive oil for several minutes.
  2. Ten you can add the pack of Quorn Mince and then saute for a several more minutes.
  3. Then add in the kidney beans, chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper and chilli powder to taste.
  4. Now bring this to the boil while stirring regularly, cover and simmer approx. 20-30 minutes.
  5. Next this can be served with a large portion of boiled rice - Basmati !!

Alterations


Thanks for the recipe Gatorfan.
When I make quorn chili I crush a clove of garlic and add it just as the onions have softened, stirring for 30 seconds before adding the mince.
I also add a teaspoon of cumin and a sprinkle of dried oregano at the same time as the chili powder.
