Chicken Marengo

- 3lb boneless pork, cubed shopping list
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 onion chopped shopping list
- 1/2 tsp basil shopping list
- 1tsp marjoram shopping list
- 2 chicken buillion cubes or packets shopping list
- 1 28oz can tomatoes shopping list
- 1 tsp salt, or to taste shopping list
- 3 tbsp flour shopping list
- 1/3 cup water shopping list
- 8 oz fresh mushrooms, or 1 can drained shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in skillet, and brown pork cubes on all sides, remove with slotted spoon to crockpot.
- drain off all but about 1 tbsp oil in pan, add onions a saute gently until soft. Add buillion cubes, salt, marjoram, and basil, stir well, add the can of tomatoes and heat gently to a boil.
- Pour tomato/onion mixture into crockpot with the cubed pork, turn pot to low and let cook for 8 hours.
- Turn crockpot to high and mix flour with water until smooth and carefully add to the crockpot, add mushrooms and mix gently, let cook on high with lid off for about 15 mins.
- Serve over hot cooked rice or you can use noodles
