This recipe is so easy, yet so tasty. The kids love it. I obtained this recipe from a Meals on Wheels volunteer who makes this as a treat for her customers when their birthday comes around. I make the cakes, she makes the ice cream and our customer... More

Ingredients
  • 8 milky way bars
  • 6 eggs well beaten
  • 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 large cans evaporated milk
  • 2 cups milk

Directions
  1. Melt candy bars with 2 cups milk then cool.
  2. Mix eggs and sugar in bowl then beat well.
  3. Add vanilla evaporated milk and candy mixture to 1 gallon freezer can.
  4. Finish with milk then freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
