Quick Lamb Ragu Recipe
Mix up a quick and tasty ragu using fresh ground lamb and middle eastern spices

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb ground lamb
  • 1/2 onion - diced
  • 1/2 jar barilla marinara sauce
  • 1 tbs olive or grapeseed oil
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced (or use paste)
  • 2 cloves
  • pinch of allspice
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of pumpkin pie spice

Directions
  1. heat oil over medium heat
  2. add ground lamb and cook until no pink is visible
  3. add diced onion and spices, stir
  4. saute until onion is soft and lamb is fully browned
  5. add marinara sauce, reduce heat and simmer at least 15 min
  6. serve over gnocchi, spaghettini, bow ties, or oricchiette with plenty of fresh grated Parmesan. Yum!
