Ingredients
  • 4oz shredded suet
  • 8oz self raising flour
  • water

Directions
  1. add suet and flour together whilst dry.
  2. add water gradually until the dumplings are the right consistenc (just moist enough to hold the dumplings together)
  3. roll mixture into small balls (bear in mind the dumplings will expand whilst cooking)
  4. drop the dumplings into the stew 20 mins before the stew is cooked.
