Pizza Dip Recipe

Pizza Dip Recipe
This dip takes the pizza off the pan and makes it scoopable. My family inhaled it when I made it for the Christmas Eve buffet.

Ingredients
  • 8 oz package of cream cheese, room temp
  • 1 cup of pizza sauce
  • black olives
  • chopped pepperoni (precooked to cut down on the grease)
  • shredded cheese, flavor of choice
  • crushed red pepper (optional)
  • (or any other pizza toppings you like, I'm relatively picky about my pizza though ;D)
  • garlic
  • oregano
  • salt/pepper

Directions
  1. This recipe doesn't really call for quantities, as it's a 'put in until it looks tasty' dish.
  2. Cook your pepperoni until it seems like it's getting crisp, then lay it on a paper towel to drain and cool off.
  3. In a mixing dish, mix the cream cheese, pizza sauce, and the seasonings together. Pour the mix into whatever dish you plan on using (8x8 works good).
  4. Spread it out, nice and even. Now add your toppings and then cover the mix liberally with the cheese. Sprinkle the cheese with the crushed red pepper.
  5. Stick in fridge for at least an hour to let everything set.
  6. When you're ready for it, put it under the oven to broil for approximately 5 minutes until the cheese is gooey.
  7. Serve with chips
