Sweet And Sour Meatloaf Recipe
This meatloaf always turns out really moist and the topping is a lot more interesting than just plain ketsup. I always serve this with my hashbrown scallops.

Ingredients
  • 2 Lbs. Ground Beef (I like to use one that is not super lean, just seems to make it moister to me)
  • 1 cup plain bread crumbs
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 3 Tablespoons Yellow Mustard
  • 6 Tablespoons Ketsup
  • 1 whole egg
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons white vinegar

Directions
  1. Mix together meat, bread crumbs, onion soup mix, mustard, 1/2 the ketsup, egg and salt and pepper.
  2. Shape into Loaf Pan.
  3. Bake 45 min. at 350 degrees. (drain off excess grease)
  4. Mix remaining ketsup, sugars, and vinegar adn microwave for 1-2 min. to dissolve sugars.
  5. Pour over hot meatloaf and return to oven for 15 more min.
  6. Let stand 10 min. before serving.
