Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups self rising corn meal
  • 3 Tbsp all rising flour
  • 1 Tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk or water

Directions
  1. Combine corn meal, flour and onion, add egg. Beat in milk. Drop from spoon into hot fat where fish was fried. Fry until golden brown. Drain and spread with butter.
