How to make it

  • Bake pie shells as directed and set aside to cool.
  • Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar.
  • Fold in cool whip and mix until smooth.
  • Add vanilla and stir in crushed pineapple.
  • Add pecan chips and stir until evenly distributed throughout mixture.
  • Pour into cooled pie shells and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
