How to make it

  • preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • in a large cassarole dish layer 1/4th of the cabbage then 1/4th sausage
  • sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of the flour
  • dot with 1/4th of the stick of butter
  • continue to layer until cabbage, sausage, flour and butter are used
  • in a medium sized bowl mix soup and milk together well
  • pour over the cabbage mixture
  • cover well and bake for 60 minutes stirring every 20 minutes or until cabbage is very tender
  • season with salt and pepper to taste when you stir the first time
