How to make it

  • Cook brussels sprouts according to directions, omitting salt, drain
  • Place brussels sprouts in shallow 2 quart casserole, keep warm
  • Melt butter
  • Add mayonnaise, lemon juice, celery salt
  • Whisk until smooth
  • Cook over medium heat until hot, stirring constantly (do not boil)
  • Pour sauce over sprouts
  • Sprinke with cheese and almonds

    I went and bought Brussels Sprouts (fresh) to go with super tonight, with the intent of flavouring them immensely (out of season here); I love them, but I often have to "disguise" them a wee bit to keep my husband happy...and, this will do the job! Thank you for a great post!
