Hot Fudge Pudding

A very good, easy comfort dessert. Makes a wonderful cake with a rich, creamy pudding on the bottom. Mix and bake in the same dish. Super easy.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 4 tbls. cocoa shopping list
- 4 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 4 tbls. shortening shopping list
- SAUCE shopping list
- 2 cups brown sugar, packed shopping list
- 4 cups boiling water shopping list
- 1/2 cup cocoa shopping list
- NOTE there are no eggs in this recipe shopping list
How to make it
- Mix first 7 ingredients together in a big casserole dish or roaster. You want it deep enough to hold the sauce and the rising cake in.
- Spread it around so it covers the bottom.
- Mix the sauce ingredients together and pour over cake. Do not mix.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
- This is fantastic served warm with vanilla ice cream or evaporated milk poured over it.
