- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed large shopping list
- 1 celery rib-sliced shopping list
- 2 carrots-sliced shopping list
- 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed shopping list
- 1 cup frozen or canned corn shopping list
- 1 cup chicken stock or boullion shopping list
- 1-1 1/2 cups water shopping list
- 1-2 tbs white wine worsterchester sauce shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- flour shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper (lemon pepper works well) shopping list
- garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp marjoram shopping list
- 2-4 leaves lemon verbena, crushed (lemon zest works well too) shopping list
How to make it
- heat oil in stock pot
- add chicken after seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic and dusting heavily with flour cook till brown
- add onion, celery and carrot after dredging in flour
- add 1 tbs of flour and toast
- add stock, stirring up brown bits from pan
- add water and worst. sauce
- simmer till thickened and potatoes are done
- add corn, simmer till heated thru.
- serve with crusty bread and a green salad.
