How to make it

  • beat egg and mix with milk
  • On 4 slices of bread, spread cream cheese and cover with remaining bread (like a sandwich).
  • Dip in the egg and milk mixture and put in a frying pan of melted butter.
  • Brown on both sides.
  • To hasten the cream cheese to melt, cover a few minutes.
  • Serve immediately with warm strawberry preserve spooned ontop
  • *Sprinkle with powdered sugar and top with a fresh strawberry
