Sherry Shrimp And Rice Recipe
Super shrimp with a sherry sauce. Served over rice it's an easy and delicious meal!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1-3/4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cream or half-&-half
  • 3 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 pound shrimp, no shells or tails and deveined and cooked
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoons sherry

Directions
  1. Cook rice.
  2. Set aside and keep warm.
  3. Clean and cook shrimp.
  4. Set aside until read to add to saucepan.
  5. In a sauce pan, mix butter, flour and cream.
  6. Heat over medium heat until it thickens.
  7. Add chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, shrimp, salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Stir to blend well and cook 1-2 minutes.
  9. Just before serving, add the sherry and stir to blend.
  10. Serve over cooked rice.
