Easy Chicken Pie Recipe
This can be vegetarian, or change a couple of ingredients and it becomes a real chicken pie. This recipe has been made so often that I never wrote it down, so I guessed at time.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, (I use a 1 pound bag)
  • 1 med. potato, cubed and peeled
  • I pkg of 2 refrigerator piecrusts (let stand until room temperature to unroll easily)
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 bag of frozen Morning Star Meal Starters Chik'n Strips, diced and sauteed for 2-3 minutes until thoroughly heated.

Directions
  1. Cook potato cubes in enough water to barely cover until nearly tender, then add vegetables and cook until tender, drain. Mix chik'n and veggies.
  2. Bake bottom crust as directed and fill with heated ingredients, add top crust and bake in 350 oven 10 minutes or until brown. Enjoy
  3. Note:
  4. When I made this before I went back to being a vegetarian, I used about 2 boneless,skinless chicken breasts, diced and sauteed and I used cream of chicken soup. Also, if you want a really quick meal, you could just heat up canned veggies and add to the chicken.
