Buckeye Candy Recipe
Tastes like a crunchy Reese's Peanut Butter cup. I've tried lots of Buckeye recipes, but this recipe from my aunt is the best I've ever had.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 pound (3 1/2 cups) fine confectioner's sugar
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 stick butter or good quality margarine, melted
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 paraffin bar

Directions
  1. In large bowl, combine peanut butter, 2 cups confectioners' sugar and cereal, mixing well.
  2. Add butter and remaining powered sugar until well blended.
  3. Shape into balls about the size of a walnut.
  4. Melt together chocolate chips & paraffin wax in double boiler.
  5. Use toothpick to dip balls in chocolate to coat halfway and place on waxed paper to harden.
  6. These also make a great frozen treat.
