Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. of frozen hash browns - thawed
  • 1 pt. of sour cream
  • 1/2 c. of chopped onions
  • 2 c. of grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. of melted margarine
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp. of salt
  • 1/4 tsp. of pepper

Directions
  1. First you want to add all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Add to a buttered casserole dish.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees approx. 45 min.

I make this recipe on occasion and it is utterly delicious. Thanks for sharing it! The only suggestion I can make is that it helps to defrost the hash browns first.


I have made this many, many times we call it Party Potatoes. I partialy thaw the hashbrowns and only use the little cubed kind. I also mix 1c crushed conrflakes with a 1/2 stick of butter. Then sprinkle on top before I bake it. Makes a nice crunchy topping.
