Sausage and Peppers with Basil

This is a quick and easy recipe for sausage and peppers. It's from a potluck cookbook that was created at my last place of employment.

In a bowl, stir soup mix and water until blended; set aside.
In large skillet, heat corn oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage; brown on all sides about 2 minutes. Pour off all but 1 tablespoon drippings.
Add green pepper, onion, and garlic. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
Stir in soup mixture. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low. Partially cover and simmer 10 minutes.

corn oil in italian cooking??? yuck!!! and soup mix??? hello- quite obvious you are not italian - go to italy or join an italian cooking class-
