Ingredients

How to make it

  • Liberally grease an 8 inch baking pan.
  • In a saucepan bring to a boil the maple syrup, cream, and butter.
  • Boil, uncovered, until a drop in cold water forms a soft ball(236-238 degrees F).
  • Remove from heat and cool until lukewarm without stirring.
  • Beat until creamy then turn into baking pan.
  • Let set then cut into squares.
  • Beautiful on a holiday tray if they last that long!

I made this recipe as directed and it never thickened. It stayed syrupy. Did i use the wrong cream? i used heavy whipping cream?
