I found this list of ingredients written on a scrap of paper in a recipe book I got at a yard sale. I liked the flavors so I made one. It's a nice fall cake.

Ingredients
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup whole cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (I use walnuts)

Directions
  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix the first 5 ingredients until well blended
  3. Fold in the cranberry sauce and nuts
  4. Pour the batter into a cake pan
  5. Refer to the cake mix box for baking time.
