How to make it

  • Bake cupcakes according to cake mix box. When it's done, let them cool for litle bit. Then poke holes in all of the cupcakes. I kind of slice them open a little bit w/ a knife. Mix your sweetened condensed milk and butterscotch ice cream topping together, then pour it over each cupcake. Put them in the fridge for about 2 hrs. Afterwards, take them out and frost them w/ buttercream icing. Sometimes, I take the remaining butterscotch topping and zigzag it across the top of each cupcake, just for aesthetic value. :) Very, very sweet dessert! A little dab will do ya! :)

    Okay, it's been awhile since I've made these and I've gotta say, this is extremely messy. I put all of my baked cupcakes in a cake pan and pour over the caramel/butterscotch mixture and it just ends up all over the place. When they're all finally done, the cupcake papers are so messy and sticky and when you take the papers off, the cupcake just falls apart. If anyone has any ideas on a cleaner version, please post. Either that, or I'll just stick to doing the cake version instead of cupcakes. :) Thanks!
