I put this together on the weekends and then use it during the week. You can get 2 meals out of this recipe and my kids love this with some mac and cheese!

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. ground ham
  • 2 lbs. ground pork
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 T. dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Directions
  1. IN a large bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients and mix well. Form into 2 loaves and place in 2 loaf pans. Combine the remaining ingredients to make a sauce. Baste the loaves with sauce. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. Serve the remaining sauce as a gravy. Serves 10-12. This becomes 2 meals in the time it takes to make one. Line 1 loaf pan with plastic wrap and place half of the meat mixture in this pan, the rest in the other loaf pan. Freeze. Once frozen, remove from the and wrap in plastic wrap. Your loaf pan is now free for another use. If you will be freezing the loaf for long, double wrap or freeze wrap. Another batch of sauce can easily be prepared when you are going to use the second loaf.

This is GREAT!!! We thought we had lost this recipe but found it as I was looking for it on line. This has been in the family for years. We only use 1/2cup milk but otherwise the same. This is the only way we like ham loaf.
