Styers Apple Jack Pound Cake

- Combine and set aside: shopping list
- 3 cups flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sal shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- Mix nd add to dry ingredients: shopping list
- 1/2 cup oil shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- Fold in: shopping list
- 2 cups finely chopped apples shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 1/2 cup raisens shopping list
- For soaking: combine shopping list
- 1/2 cup apple jack shopping list
- 1/2 cup apple juice shopping list
- 1/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of sweet butter shopping list
How to make it
- Place cake in 10inch greased tube pan
- 325 for 1 hour or until tested done.
- Soaking liquid:
- Bring to boil until sugar is dissolved.
- Prick top of cake with fork.
- Carefully spoon apple jack syrup over cake.
- I have not made this yet. Sometimes I think this good be on the dry side because not much liquid in the cake. IF someone makes this let me know, I could be wrong. This always looks so good. I keep forgetting about it.
