steamed coconut chicken thighs

- 1 kilo chicken thighs shopping list
- 2 cups coconut milk shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp white pepper shopping list
- 3 tbsp of shrimp fry paste (bagoong alamang) shopping list
- 2 small onions, chopped shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
How to make it
- in a marinating dish, put in all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- turn chicken thighs pieces every 30 minutes for about 2 to 3 hours, for better flavor.
- after 2-3 hours, remove the chicken from the marinade.
- set aside marinade.
- place the marinated chicken pieces evenly in a steam dish or bowl
- steam the chicken for about 20 minutes or until chicken is fork-tender.
- in a separate wok or teflon pan, put in the marinade and boil until marinade thickens.
- place on top of steamed chicken or on top of steamed rice.
