Steamed Coconut Chicken Breasts Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 kilo chikcen breast fillet
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 3 tbsp of shrimp fry paste (bagoong alamang)
  • 2 small onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Directions
  1. in a marinating dish, put in all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  2. turn chicken breast pieces every 30 minutes for about 2 to 3 hours, for better flavor.
  3. after 2-3 hours, remove the chicken from the marinade.
  4. set aside marinade.
  5. place the marinated chicken pieces evenly in a steam dish or bowl
  6. steam the chicken for about 20 minutes or until chicken is fork-tender.
  7. in a separate wok or teflon pan, put in the marinade and boil until marinade thickens.
  8. place on top of steamed chicken or on top of steamed rice.
