Pan Poached Salmon Piccata

- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon chicken broth granules shopping list
- 2 salmon fillets shopping list
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter shopping list
- 1 tablespoon capers shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley shopping list
- 2 cups cooked egg noodles shopping list
How to make it
- Bring water and lemon juice to a boil in medium sized skillet.
- Stir in chicken granules.
- Reduce heat to a simmer and place salmon fillets in pan.
- Cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
- Remove salmon from pan and keep warm.
- Boil remaining liquid in pan until it reduces to approximately 1/4 cup.
- Whisk in butter and stir in capers then spoon sauce over fish.
- Season with pepper and sprinkle with parsley.
- Server on a bed of cooked noodles.
