Ingredients

12 ounces chocolate chips

1 bag colored mini marshmallows

1 cup chopped nuts

1 cup coconut flakes

Directions

melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave and stir until smooth.

place the marshmallows in a large bowl with the nuts. pour the chocolate in and mix well to combine.

now you need 4 sheets of wax or parchment paper about 14 inches long.

place a piece of wax or parchment paper on a flat surface and spoon half of mixture onto the paper.

using the paper to roll, form the mixture into a log, making sure it rolls tightly.

unroll the paper from the log. on a second sheet of paper, sprinkle some of the coconut flakes and place the log on top. sprinkle with more coconut and re-roll in the new paper.

repeat the process for the remaining mixture.

chill for at least 2 hours.

remove the logs from the paper and slice into 1/2 to 1 inch thick slices.

each slice looks like a mini stained glass window!

Kids love to help with this recipe (if you can keep them from eating the ingredients!)

we used to make these when I was a kid for all the major holidays.
