Lemon Chicken Saute Recipe
An easy main dish. One of my favorite recipes growing up. Tangy with the flavors of lemon and teriyaki, definitely jazzes up plain old chicken.

Ingredients
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 3 Tsp. fllour
  • 1/4 cup lightly salted butter (use butter only)
  • 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 3 Tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar

Directions
  1. Place flour in a zip-lock bag.
  2. Add chicken pieces and shake to coat well.
  3. Spray a 10" skillet with cooking spray.
  4. Melt butter in skillet.
  5. Fry chicken breasts over medium heat until lightly browned (5-7 minutes).
  6. Turn chicken and continue cooking until lightly browned.
  7. Remove chicken and set aside.
  8. In the skillet juices add teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, garlic and sugar.
  9. Stir well.
  10. Return chicken to skillet.
  11. Simmer 3 minutes.
  12. Turn heat to low.
  13. Turn chicken over and continue cooking until fork tender (approx. 20 mins.).
