Macadmia Nut Slice

- 200 g roasted macadamia nuts, chopped shopping list
- 150 g glacé pineapple, chopped shopping list
- 150 g glacé apricots, chopped shopping list
- 150 g glacé red & green cherries, chopped shopping list
- 150 g raisins shopping list
- 2 Tbsp brandy shopping list
- 125 g butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 cup self-raising flour shopping list
- 1 tsp mixed spice shopping list
- 200 g cooking chocolate, roughly chopped shopping list
- 200 g Dark Melts shopping list
How to make it
- Combine nuts, glace fruits, raisins and brandy, stand 15 minutes.
- Place butter, Sweetened Condensed Milk and egg in small bowl of electric mixer, beat until light and creamy. Fold in flour and mixed spice, add nut and fruit mixture and Cooking Chocolate, stir well.
- Spoon into 2 greased and lined bar tins. Bake at 180°c for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool completely before icing with the Dark Melts, refrigerate until set. Cut into small squares to serve.
