just wanted to share one of my many useful cooking hints I've come across over the years!

Ingredients
  • Lance the top of the cake with a kebab stick then spoon fruit juice or brandy on top...store cake for 2-3 daysto allow the liquid to disapate...

Directions
  1. Rich fruitcakes improve with age. Idealy they should be kept well for 6 or more months...but who can wait that long...lol
