Smoked Sausage Skillet Recipe Fancypants / All my dishes

Good old standby for those quick dinners. Nothing fancy, but a winner for any season.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ring of smoked sausage sliced in diagonal 1/4" thick pieces (polish, turkey, beef or other)
  • 4 medium size potatoes (slicked 1/4" thick)
  • 1 large onion (sliced)
  • 1 large green pepper (sliced)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons oil

Directions
  1. Heat oil in large skillet (electric skillet is perfect) to 350*
  2. Drop in sliced potatoes and fry for 15 minutes, turning as needed
  3. Add sausage, onions and peppers and fry until pototes are tender.
  4. Season as desired. (Garlic powder, dry mustard or even cheese sauce)
  5. Serve with a salad and bread.
