Chicken Chili

- 2 tbsp. olive oil shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed shopping list
- 1 small tomato, diced shopping list
- 1 small onion diced shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro, or as much to your liking shopping list
- 1 14 oz. can diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1 6-8 oz. can of tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 can of black beans shopping list
- 1 can of garbanzo beans shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. cumin shopping list
- 1 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- chili powder to your liking shopping list
How to make it
- On medium-high heat in a large skillet pour in olive oil and garlic powder. Once olive oil starts to sizzle put in chicken breast. Cook for about 5-7 minutes (until sides have started to brown).
- Add in the rest of the ingredients and bring to low heat.
- Cover skillet and let simmer for about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Ready to serve. You can garnish with a little scoop of sour cream or some shredded cheddar cheee. I usually eat it as is with a whole wheat tortilla or whole grain tortilla chips.
